This is to certify that the Float-line Pontoon Design and Drawings provided by M/S Trafalgar EPC Pvt Ltd for Capacity Enhancement of Mineral Separation Plant at IREL, OSCOM have been verified/ examined and found satisfactory. It is certified that Pontoon will remain stable under various specific operating, loading and wind conditions with the design provided.

Therefore, it can be concluded as under.

1. As all the loads of the deck are distributed evenly, hence no heeling or trimming of the floating unit is expected in static condition.
2. As the pontoon set will be in sheltered water, it is not likely to get subjected to strong wave forces which may cause severe rolling of pontoon.
3. If the pontoon set is subjected to 250 km/h (70m/s) speed of wind force, may cause a listing not exceeding 5° which is safe.
4. The total forces of buoyancy at the three listing angles 5°, 10°, 15° shown in the drawings, clearly shows that the upper limit of the forces of buoyancy or the load capacity of the vessel rises drastically with the lowering of the listing angle. It is to be noted that at the listing angle of 15° shown in the drawing, the buoyancy capacity of 8930 kg is indicated, whereas the calculated weight of the pontoon is 8390 kg. This shows that a safe margin is available even at 15° listing.
5. The Pontoon set as per the calculations, was found to be stable in normal intact conditions as well as in 3 different listing angles.
